Ronald's Tea was created by a Canadian gentleman, Mr. Ron Gamble. He makes his home in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ron has been involved in various aspects of the tea business for many years. Ron was dissatisfied by the alternatives
available for instant flavored drinks, most, if not all, had many additives and components that were not necessarily a healthy addition to one's diet. In the 1970's, Ron set out to create an alternative to those instant drinks. By blending
a secret combination of citrus flavoring, tea and sugar, Ron created an instant drink that could be enjoyed either hot or cold. Ronald's Iced Tea Mix was packaged and distributed to grocery shelves in 1977 by
Gamble Foods INC. It is important to realize that Ronald's Tea is an all natural product, containing no preservatives, chemicals, or other additives. Only naturally grown ingredients are included in Ronald's Tea.
Ronald's Tea has been strictly controlled - the formula has been kept unchanged from 1977 to the present time. In 2004 Ron decided that he would retire and not continue the production of the product. The Wayland family has enjoyed drinking
Ronald's Iced Tea Mix hot for almost 20 years. They decided that Ronald's Tea was simply too good to let it go away. They started discussing the possibility with Mr. Gamble of continuing the production and distribution of Ronald's Tea.
During December 2004 and January 2005 an agreement was reached and a new company formed to continue the production of Ronald's Tea.

Kirkway LLC, was formed by the Wayland and Kirk families. Kirkway LLC plans to continue producing the same product that has been so popular for nearly 30 years.
The distribution of Ronald's Tea will continue in same manner as Gamble Foods has distributed the product. In addition, however, Kirkway will investigate other methods of distribution, one of these is the creation of www.ronaldstea.com
